Ndugu Kikwete. Who is fooling whom is power rationing, an eye opener?

What is going on in Tanzania with regards to power rationing annoys and sickens. If anything, what TANESCO is maliciously doing to our people begs more questions than answers.

No way one can mince words when we say that what is going on in Tanzania is but sabotage and reckless to our country and people altogether. This sans doubts is perpetrated by the kit and caboodle of our rulers shall they not come clean about it.

Why are we saying so? Because even before the dust settles, we are fathomed with another confusing findings! Guess what? TANESCO is to get another foreign management to run it! Gosh! What is wrong with our people indeed? How can this happen? One may ask if at all the blunders and hocus pocus by Net Group problems are still fresh in our minds!
You never know. This is to recommend foreign companies for their good "Job" of ruining our economy.

Again, one may shockingly ask, who bewitched you Danganyikans?

Truly this fiasco is but nonsense and bulimia shall our rulers treat us this way. Thanks to the third regime for paving the way for all these” goodies" we are enjoying to day. Hold on. Let us look at the reasonable reasons that gear our rulers into committing this sacrilege.

Firstly, they are saying that foreign firms have more expertise in collecting debts than local ones. Bravo. Why don't they tell us as to how much did Net Group Problems collect if any? To us, debt collection can efficiently been done even by a boy shall favourable conditions are put in place. So the reason so given is totally gibberish and nugatory.

If this reason makes any gist of sense, then why then Net Group is shown the door? To us, if there is any "success", any sane person can be proud of with regards to Net Group Problems, it is nothing but to siphon our money and Mgao wa umeme literally power rationing.

Why doesn't the powerhouse want to learn from Net Group Problems? Once again, what is wrong with these guys? Don't they know that we know how silent they are when it comes to giving us the figure of how much this sham company collected? Mr. Jakaya where are you? To be honest to you, we did not expect your government to perform this way at all.

Does this mean that you too have already sipped from that cup of power, full of intoxication so as to labour under its influencer? We beg to differ in this.

With good and noble intention, let us tell you that what is going on is but shameful by all definitions and meanings altogether. Are we together?

As we are made to believe, if the foreign management is the muarobaini, well, we would hope and think that Net Group Problems would be given yet another contract of maulaji.

Can we say you a bit, that the responsibility of the management is not only to collect debts but also to put in place policies, short and long time plans to manage the corporation and all the like to see to it that the corporation pays dividends.

Can this be the juncture at what the fourth regime of yours is slowly starting to show its true colours? Is it a wrong regime at the wrong time and place? Spare me. This can not be what wananchi voted for kwa kimbunga of the Tsunami magnitude sir.

Needless to say that no one wanders to witness what is going on if at all those whose dirty hands served the third regime in committing all economic and social crimes the country has ever known are again in your corridors of powers! Mr. Jakaya, do you know that most of your ministers are but re-cycled materials which expired when they sold our country to wawekezaji and wagenishaji?

Fortunately enough those goondas are known by face and characters even where their loot is hidden in mansions, prime plots, palatial houses and what not in Kunduchi, Mbezi, Mererani ,Arusha, etc. This is an open secret shall we define it.

How can those guys be awarded portfolios and fat perks! What for? For God’s sake?

The magnitude and size of what the fourth regime is committing are bigger and larger than even the third regime. Why? The swahili has it that kutenda kosa si kosa bali kulirudia namely to err is more slightly an offence than to repeat the same. Have you just soon forgotten that all this economic calamity our people are facing resulted from Mkapa's better than thou unbecoming behaviour? Who could easily tell him anything knowingly that the guy was but infallible?

Even those we were told were his advisors were but major domos, whiz kids, cohorts and praise singers that you have filled in your office Mr. President. Do you too like bootlickers? What for?

Can it be taken that the government aims at flexing its muscles to go against people's wish? How can this abracadabra and voodoo of re-purchasing shares from ATCL for example succeed? This begs for a full article. We thus introduce it here and abandon it there.

Is it become a rule that any government, new one of course, which climbs to powers, must bring its own friendlier foreign management? Do the speculations that the said firms are brought under the "god fatherhood" of power brokers so as to benefit, make sense?

We still vividly remember how the gang -of- goons-cum brothers-in law of the former czar brought Net Group Problems. Who has easily forgotten how one of the directors was a primary school pupil? The guy is gone history though is opening it wings to reveal the classified dirty secrets of the time.

Wadanganyika still remember how the “first woman” of the nation used her hussy’s power and influence to run NGOs, get favours and loans from various Parastatals. Anyway it is not the time to name names.

” Monkey see monkey do," is it repeating itself under the fourth regime? Why don't they solve this fable by telling us which is which!

While this nefarious saga is unveiling itself, where is our might Parliament which some quarters call it "Bunge la ndiyo mzee" or the Parliament of Ben oui oui!

Have you forgotten how a certain dirty gutter press depicted it as Mbwa koko tena kusiri. We don't have even English for this caricature-like Bunge.

If Net Group Problems proved to be a very heavy burden to a taxpayer, why doesn’t the government tell us of the miracles it is to perform when it ushers in the same-like foreign firm to do the same business? The slow mover, me, daughter of adventure got it that what is referred to as a new foreign firm to take over from Net Group Problems is likely to be the same Net Group Problems with a new name. That is Bongo which always boggles the heads, mind you.

If these rumours are true, Tanzania is cascading to the purgatory. How can a country that has been independent for 40odd years fail to run its own Parastatals?

How did it create them then? Today we are told of TANESCO, tomorrow DAWASCO, the day there after Local Governments et cetera et cetera!

Before going on with our Palaver it is better we unveil another limbo our country is facing. Many ominous deals full of corruption can not revealed by the media nowadays? Why? Because the so "badly covered" Parastatals will never give the whistleblower-papers adverts. At this juncture, do we have media really? How can we if at all they are in bed with the devils? The media must be told to their face that it is better to live a day like a lion than a million years like a dog.

Let us go back to our bone. The government is slowly becoming hard headed. Why? Whenever such allegations are aired it does not bother to give reasonable and understandable clarifications!

Vox populi vox dei in that the voice of mass is the voice of God many analysts and their media have been pooh poohed despite being the voices of voiceless.

Then whom shall our rulers pay heed to? Except only in Law, silence though is said to be gold but in essence silence in African culture is a very unique consent. This means that when our rulers keep mum the implications are to the effect that they concur with whatever alleged.

Our people are like a carpet or a spoon. The spoon scoops soup for the mouth to swallow but it has never swallowed even a gist. So do our people. The type of burden and life on their necks and shoulders do not allow them to do so. Theirs always is Pesa ya kula subsistence money. Even their morning or evening presentaries tell it all. How are you? Thank lord it a day. Where are you going? Kuhangaika namely to fumble and fluff.

Such a people will never raise their voices. Such a people have their minds blotted by the urge for food.

Yes you are fluffing and struggling for subsistence sum. Well done. When will you work for money for other aspects of life such as enjoyment, education, development and what not? It is but a very hard nut for them to crack! Gosh! Nani kawaroga nyie?
Others have their way of doing things and going about their lives. They risk their lives and stow away. They are ready to face any consequence provided they doing away from Tanzania!

Due to this psyche and mind set, the rulers have got away with it as far as power rationing is concerned. Nobody is complaining provided is getting pesa ya kula! But do the people in the top ranks face the same mgao the wadanganyika are facing? Dare you, thubutu!

Something of the miracle is the fact that the same victims of darkness can come forth thumbs up to agitate for the demonstrations to denounce Israel and America for invading Lebanon! They are right. For the books of religions say "Love thy neighbour the way thou love thyself", but first love is for you. And then another last love is for thy neighbour. That is our understanding of this creed.

One mad person like us usually tells us that all politicians are of the same cut. Don't fret to find that what you think is new wine may be the same old wine in a new bottle.

Truly though that punk of ours is mad, it tells the truth because even when Big Ben came in, his first vow was to declare war against corruption. You could see foam in the side of his mouth when he was declaring this holy war. Do you know what happened there after? Condemn it verbally and condone with it practically. That was it and it is still. What followed is but history. The man is enjoying his retirement fat perks. Mungu akupe nini?

The new Czar promised development that will see Tanzania in Canaan. This to us seems to be a paradoxical but philosophical statement whose real meaning is development in under development.

When you know human behaviours you will easily even if insolently rule the man-waman. The waswahili like poems and sweet music, tell them sweet stories then you count your years in the office of the President. Then lastly they send you off with your perks, life goes on. What else?

When you look at some of the issues and things involving the current regime, you discover and see the effects of voting for someone just because he is handsome and attractive or muscular. Looking at the current regime once again, it is undisputable truth that its trump card was the attraction of the candidate.

The people did not know that beauty nowadays beauty is something one can possess even if he is no longer beautiful. Mkorogo and plastic surgery can serve this purpose. Je uzuri unaliwa? Who can feed on beauty? The sage has it.
Have we already forgotten those that the founder of this nation, Mwalimu Kambarage Nyerere told that they amassed ill-gotten wealths? Where are they today? Indeed in the Power house not corridors of power!! Another gibberish and abracadabra-like stuff.

Let us plead with those to whom this wisdom is concerned, please don't awaken slept lions and lioness. Don't let them start doing some corrections and tell you to your face that they have now realized so as to recant that the criteria they applied were weak.

Please don't let the attraction of the President fade away by smear it with your soot. We indeed still love our President.
We are inevitably forced to delve in all this after finding that though sour and bitter sometimes, truth does save especially when there is Pocco Piu and Pocco menu or Janja ya nyani and Danganya toto.

We deeply feel that we are duty bound to say this because we don't see any reason as to why our people should be turned into guinea pigs in all political experiments. Why should this happen every ten years? This time we beg to differ and stand firm to fight for the rights of our people.

Though a corrupt society bears corrupt rulers so as to carry on with corrupt deeds, we don't think Kikwete is of that cabal.
Let us surmise by urging the Ndugu President that this bone is yours. We would honestly want to humbly tell you that shall things go on the way they are, you should start either by going back to the drawing board or by preparing to bite the bullet just like your predecessor whom you overshadowed overnight because of his hanky panky and farce in ruling the people.

When they were selling our country at a throw away price we told warned them. But they told us to stop languishing in speculations but we mind our own business.

Christopher Mtikila once warned us about dependence on Gabacholis. We pooh poohed him when they even snatched dukawalahship now they are fighting to snatch our souls and bodies. Oh hell no! It should not happen under Jakaya.
